I never even got to stay. I booked last year well in advance, and three months later they canceled without any explanation. I think it may have been because I got a discount through Trivago. Since the location was good, I decided to give it another try. After booking through Booking, I messaged to ask whether an earlier check-in might be possible. They didn't reply. Booking's email about my message gave me a mobile number to contact the host directly. The woman who answered said she wasn't the manager but would pass my message along. She never did, despite me following up. A week before the trip, I tried again on WhatsApp, this time through RG itself, and also through their account on Booking. Their average response time was FOUR hours, and I didn't have that kind of time right before traveling. I ended up canceling because I had no assurance they'd answer or that I'd be able to check in. I had to find another place at a MUCH higher price because of the date, even though I'd tried to arrange everything ahead of time. I don't recommend them. The lack of professionalism and courtesy caused me stress and extra expense. At least the cancellation was free.

The apartment is old and lacks even basic maintenance. The shower sprays water everywhere except on you, there was no soap or shampoo, and my room smelled musty. The location near Liberdade is a plus, as are the price and on-site parking. Parking was actually the main reason I chose it. The surrounding area feels quite run-down, especially at night. If you can spend a little more, look elsewhere.

We booked through Booking and were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, in great shape, had clean sheets, and was well located near the metro and Feira da Liberdade. I wouldn't recommend walking around the surrounding area at night. The front desk is open 24 hours, and facial recognition makes entry convenient. They also let us leave our backpack at reception after checkout and pick it up later. My one complaint is the kitchen bin was broken and the cutlery had been put away dirty. I suspect the previous guests were responsible.

Good value for money. I slept well in the pleasant Quarto Bem Estar. The TV wasn't working, and they offered me another room, but I preferred to stay in Quarto Bem Estar.

The receptionist who helped us was very polite and capable, a 10 out of 10 for her. The men at the parking reception were the opposite: rude, arrogant, and couldn't even say good morning. Otherwise, this is a very good aparthotel.
