The staff are too strict about the rules, and you can't have visitors in your room. It's the cheapest place in the area, with basic facilities that match the price, so the value is about what you'd expect. Luz station is a three-minute walk away. That's where the airport train arrives, and you can connect to several other train lines there. Streets in Brazil generally aren't safe, but this hotel's neighborhood feels more unsafe than usual.

The staff were amazing, very kind, and helpful, and the hostel and rooms were very clean. The location is the main problem. The street is dangerous and unsafe, with a lot of homeless people and people using drugs. As a traveler, you can't go out on the street in the evenings.

It's centrally located near the train, which makes it handy for getting to the airport. The staff are friendly and kind. The shared rooms are really small, so I wouldn't recommend that option if you're a woman. I chose a private room for that reason.

There's a large homeless population around Luz station, which makes the area feel a bit dangerous. The location is convenient because the station is nearby, though. The hotel itself is amazing, and the employees are very nice and polite.

It's a very basic hostel with a kitchen and a small bar. The staff are nice, but in October 2021 the area was full of homeless people. I hope it feels safer in the future.
