Bê Hotel

The rooms are modern and have everything you need, and breakfast was delicious. I had a very nice stay at the hotel.

The staff were really helpful and nice. Most spoke English pretty well, though I tried some Portuguese and think they appreciated it. One night, a woman at the front desk, whose name I’ve forgotten, called a great Italian restaurant nearby and placed my pizza order in Portuguese, including the hotel address. Later I picked up a bottle of wine from the snacks area, and she wouldn’t let me use one of the plastic cups by the sodas. She went upstairs to the kitchen and brought back a large stemmed wine glass. That’s great service. It’s a cozy little boutique hotel, and the rooftop area gives you a decent view of the neighborhood at night. It was about the only place I found in my price range with a rooftop view. My one suggestion is to put rugs on the hallway and stairwell floors to cut down on the echo when people come and go. It can get loud if your room is the first one off the elevator. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The rooms are clean and fresh, but it feels a bit expensive for what you get. Breakfast could use more choices. I’d rather pay less and eat breakfast somewhere else.

The room had everything we needed, including a shower and insulated windows that kept things quiet for sleeping. The hotel is affordable and comfortable, and well placed if you want to stay around downtown and perdizes. We’re very likely to stay again.
