I stayed for eight nights, and having to pay an extra 35 reais just to change the bed linen was outrageous. The stay also started with an exhausting check-in, especially since both my husband and I had to send selfie photos later. Even after that, facial recognition still didn’t work, so security had to ask us questions each time we entered the building to confirm we were staying there. The location is close to the airport, so it’s noisy day and night. It sounded like planes were right overhead, and I woke up before my alarms many times to planes landing or taking off.
The room worked well and matched the pictures, and the gym, laundry, and pool were great. The area felt completely safe for international travelers, though it was noisy, especially with planes taking off a few hundred meters away and flying over the building. Check-in was stressful and took a lot of my time. I had to send my documents three times, including through their chat, and that was handled very poorly. Even with those issues, I recommend the place.
There’s no parking on site, and the internet in our room didn’t work. They said it might take up to three days for someone to come look at it. Check-in was also a long, overcomplicated process handled over WhatsApp, with no face-to-face contact.
The apartments are nice, with a sauna, pool, and a good location, but the technology caused a lot of frustration and wasted time. The touchscreen for the apartment entry code was faulty, then I couldn’t get into the laundry room to collect my clothes because its facial recognition had lost its Wi-Fi connection. The washing machines also require an app, and it wouldn’t let me run two machines at once, even though they were both free, because that supposedly exceeded the limit. There were lots of little problems like this. I had to contact support and reception several times. With simpler technology, the stay could have been much better. Right now, “frustrating” is my first thought about this accommodation.
