After we’d booked and paid in full, nobody knew we were arriving, and we still couldn’t get into the apartment. We spent a while in the lobby with our tired, crying baby after a 17-hour flight. Once we finally got inside, the place was super dirty. The floor looked like it had never been washed, all the furniture was dirty, and the internet didn’t work.

It’s a good serviced apartment with a kitchenette. They don’t clean the room during your stay, so you have to manage everything yourself. They’ll arrange cleaning for about $40 USD.

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had. My reservation had been in place for seven months, but they canceled it without warning because of a leak. I only found out when I arrived and learned I couldn’t stay there. I still haven’t received a response about refunding what I’d paid or covering the new hotel I had to pay for.

What should have been a comfortable, peaceful stay became deeply embarrassing. A young woman at reception, with glasses, long black hair, braces, and a nose piercing, behaved in a way that I perceived as flirting with my husband. That felt completely inappropriate in a place that presents itself as serious and respectable, and left us tense and disrespected. It was more than unpleasant. It was invasive and humiliating, and far from the welcoming, professional treatment we expected from the staff. The stay ended up marked by embarrassment, frustration, and disappointment. I hope the hotel investigates this seriously and takes appropriate steps so other guests don’t go through something similar. This should never have happened, and it doesn’t fit the reputation the hotel wants to maintain.
