The gym is small and shared with Quality Hotel in the connecting building, but it has several treadmills, an elliptical, some weights, a multi-purpose strength machine, and free water. There's no pool. The hotel itself is functional, comfortable, and very clean, right next to a large shopping mall. The lobby restaurant serves good food, and the staff provide excellent service. Breakfast has enough choice, though it doesn't vary much. All in all, a satisfactory stay without much to complain about.
10/10
The internet was a small but repeated annoyance: about every half hour it would disconnect and make me register and sign in again, which isn't good if you need to stay online continuously. Still, my month-long stay was easy and comfortable thanks to the staff. Everyone was great, and Victor especially made my time there enjoyable. Victor and Angela Cristina stood out for being polite, attentive, efficient, and friendly. They exceeded my expectations, made me feel welcome, and, to me, represent the heart and spirit of Brasil. Hotels are just concrete, metal, and glass; the people are what bring them to life. If you stay there, ask Victor about the Remote Control Elevator Door....

The building is newer and next to a nice mall, and the stay was decent, though it could be better. Check-in dragged on and felt a bit surly. They couldn't find my reservation, and the internet was slow. The room design had a couple of irritating quirks: the built-in luggage rack sits by the door, so a regular suitcase on it blocks the door from opening. Also, some kind of smoke detector flashes a little light every 10-15 seconds. That's going to make sleeping tonight fun. Bah.
2/10
Breakfast was good, but the rest of the stay was very bad. No one greeted me when I arrived, and the bathroom floor, toilet, and walls were dirty. The sheets were stained, and the closet and cabinet were dusty. The restaurant was even worse: only leftovers were available, despite my arriving two hours before closing.
10/10
Quiet, neat, clean, and close to everything. Definitely the best hotel in Sao Paulo, and I'd recommend it.
