Conforto MADÁ Hostel

The atmosphere here is so friendly, and everything was really clean. Luma, Giannella, Luan, Fran, and Felipe were kind, funny, and helpful. I felt very at home with them.

We had a great time here, and the lively atmosphere was lovely. The staff were really accommodating and helpful. Felipe spent quite a while talking with car rental companies for us so we could get a car. None of them spoke English, but he helped us sort it out.

The location was decent and it was kind of clean, but the stay felt pretty sad. Check-in was unpleasant, the bathroom door didn’t lock, and I had to listen to staff arguing for an hour. Staff were still talking in the common area past 2 am, so we couldn’t use it. There were no social events either.

There are several showers and toilets, and the kitchen is well equipped with filtered water. The hostel is close to Beco do Batman and easy to reach on foot. There are lots of bars and restaurants right on the main street, though they’re a bit pricey. The neighborhood felt safe, and getting there by bus is easy, or the train station is about a 10 minute walk away. The atmosphere at the bars was amazing during a soccer match. Highly recommend.
