I found the hotel better than I expected from its listing. The location works well if you’re on foot, between Luz and Tiradentes stations. The street seemed relatively safe for using UBER, and there’s a 24-hour car park across the road with very good prices. The neighborhood is quiet, and street noise was within normal limits. Staff were quick to help. Breakfast on the top floor was a pleasant surprise, both for the neighborhood view and the food choices. Rooms are basic but clean, with new fixtures and comfortable beds with 2. The nightly rate is lower than the standard of the hotel’s offering. My rating is relative to the place’s purpose and the people it’s intended for.

The location and breakfast were the only parts that met expectations. Otherwise, this was a really bad stay and didn’t match what’s advertised. The rooms are old and had mold, which was awful. When we asked for fresh towels, we got an old, torn one that looked like a floor rag and was completely unsuitable. The elevators are old too, and the bed linen was stained. It all gave the impression that the hotel lacked care and maintenance.
