Flat Econômico

Very clean and cozy, with a decent breakfast and a pool.

I only stayed one night, and it worked out well for what I needed: a hot shower and a good bed. The room looked just like the photos, and the receptionist was clear and to the point. If you want water, pick some up at reception because the room’s minibar is empty. I’d stay here again.

There were some good things: the place is well located, the kitchen has utensils, the room was clean, and the gas shower had a strong flow. There’s a pool, a barbecue area, drinks at reception, and breakfast for 15 reais. But our room didn’t match what we booked. We asked for a double bed and got two singles pushed together, one of which made a terrible noise. The TV was an old tube model, while we saw that other rooms had newer TVs and proper large double beds. The pool was nice, though it had so many insects floating in it that I cleaned it before getting in, haha. When we arrived, a man greeted us kindly but said they’d been caught by surprise and were full. I wasn’t too convinced, and he joked around a bit too much. My girlfriend and I were in a good mood, so we let it go, but I found the room situation disrespectful. They should improve this and provide the kind of room shown in the listing, without all the extra talk at check-in. That’s my honest take on the stay.

I rented the flat for three days mainly for the privacy. It’s a wonderful, peaceful place to unwind and clear your head. Inside, it had everything: a clean bed, bathroom, kitchen, and great internet. The one letdown was the pool, which was dirty with green algae and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Just something they should improve.
