There were several problems with the room, including things that didn't work and furniture falling apart. It was definitely not 4-stars as advertised. There were no soap, shampoo, or conditioner amenities, and the front desk told me I wasn't in a regular hotel room but something more like a timeshare or Airbnb. I booked through Agoda and hadn't seen any notice that it wasn't a regular room. Agoda wasn't helpful, either. The staff weren't comfortable speaking English and wouldn't discuss it further. They told me to email the manager but didn't give me an email address. The Mercure around the corner is very similar, and I had a MUCH better experience there.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are bright and mostly fine. The workmanship in the bathroom is iffy. The restaurant isn't really a restaurant, more like a snack bar with bottled drinks, and it closes in the afternoon.

4/10
The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were good quality. Room service and reception were really great. But two of the three elevators were out of order for my entire stay, and the breakfast was a complete letdown compared with the rest of the hotel. The food was cold and old, and staff didn't keep the tables or silverware clean. It's a good place for just one or two nights if you don't mind waiting several minutes for the elevator or getting breakfast somewhere else.

Breakfast has a good range and the quality is solid. The rooms are spacious, with decent bathrooms and toiletries, and both the air conditioning and internet worked fine. It’s a good business hotel, especially if you have work at one of the nearby USP units.

The rooftop pool is a nice feature, and there’s a gym and sauna too. Good location.
