Harmonia Sao Paulo Hotel

Nothing fancy, but it worked well for me. The room was clean and simple, and the price was fair. Since it faced away from the street, I didn't hear cars, and I woke up to birds because of the nearby square. There's no parking, and a bath towel costs 5.00. No breakfast or restaurant either, but there's a very good bakery next door and a few restaurants on the street. I'd recommend it.

A really good value if you're staying in central São Paulo. It's an affordable option, right beside the Sra. Cecília and República metro stations. I'd recommend it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy duvets and pillows. Good service, too.

There are better options at similar prices, so avoid this hotel. It has no breakfast or even water, no minibar or phone to call reception, and only open television channels. The towels were thin and old, like sandpaper, and the old window-style air conditioner was noisy. The area felt extremely dangerous, with people from Cracolândia nearby all the time. Going out at night felt impossible. Reception was dishonest about charging a full night's rate for six hours, claiming half-day rates weren't available. We later saw other guests paying half rates. They took advantage of us arriving in the early morning.
