The kitchen is well equipped, and there’s a nice supermarket about a five-minute walk away. I also liked the lounge area and felt welcome and safe. It’s a clean, tidy little hostel with a friendly atmosphere. The place is very small, though: the bathrooms are tiny, and they put six beds in a room that should only hold two. There isn’t nearly enough space for six people and their bags. Still, I had a good, enjoyable stay.

Check-in and checkout were easy and relaxed, and the communal areas were cozy and well kept, so I felt welcome right away. The rooms are a good size and the restrooms are always very clean. Just be aware that the suite has no door between the bedroom and bathroom. It’s in a residential area with few cafes nearby, but the neighborhood feels safe, and there’s a supermarket close by. The history museum is about a 15-minute walk away, with a beautiful park. I’d definitely recommend staying here for a while in Stao Paulo.

The staff are really kind and make you feel at home. The place is a remodeled house turned into a hostel. I sometimes felt uncomfortable because the owners kept coming into my room, and there’s only one small bathroom.
