Hotel Bells

Honestly, I was scared. Calling it bad would be a compliment. The shower was cold, and the TV channels didn’t work. A campsite would be better than this hotel. The manager didn’t care about fixing the problem and stayed home in comfort while we were stuck with cold showers.

I can only give it these stars. The breakfast needs improvement too. I’m shocked by the whirlpool tub in the room, which has no protection around it. It should have a rubber surface to prevent accidents. As I was leaving the bathroom, I slipped and fell, and nearly hit my head on the corner of the tub. Please take steps to keep this from happening to anyone else. I look forward to hearing back.

I went a few years ago and it was great, with easy access and easy parking. You could park by the rooms. The last time I went, though, it wasn’t like that anymore. Entry was restricted to two doors, with access on foot. Maybe it’s just a hotel now, but they don’t let you know at the entrance.

The place is clean and inexpensive, and the staff are usually helpful. Still, the rooms are much worse than at other hotels in the same chain, like Granprix in Socorro. Some rooms are tiny, and only a few seem to have working air conditioning. I tried the jacuzzi suite once, but it smelled like plumbing, so I wouldn't recommend that option.
