Motel Mambo

The service was awful, and I had a terrible experience. The hot tub wasn’t producing hot water, and I waited more than three hours for someone to come check it. They didn’t offer to move me to another suite or suggest any other fix. I’d rented it for six hours and lost three of them waiting, only for nothing to get resolved. I got no support at all. I hope they handle things better if I try again.

This was humiliating and unfair. I paid by Pix for the suite and the extras, but they still said I hadn’t paid. I have all the transfer receipts and proof, and I contacted my lawyer. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of me by charging twice.

The large hot tub shown in the photo doesn’t work properly. Not all the buttons work, and the back jets that are meant to give a hydromassage don’t work. The service was really poor too. When I went, breakfast took over an hour to arrive, and the air conditioning wasn’t working.

I’m a regular customer, but this time the tablet for the TV in my room wasn’t working. I asked for a remote, and they said they’d bring one, but nothing came. I called again and waited over an hour with nothing to do, then decided to leave. They wanted to charge me 40 reais even though I’d only been waiting for the remote. I said I wasn’t going to pay and asked if they could resolve it another way. Then they called the police on me, as if I were a criminal. Luckily, I have family in the police, and they ended up giving me another room, but charged me 70 reais extra. I go there often, so that says a lot about how they treat their customers.
