My Space Bela Vista

I booked six days through Airbnb, went in, and canceled right away. The place was noisy, and the room smelled strongly of weed. I don’t know whether it came from the building or the neighborhood, but it made for a really unpleasant stay. The host’s listing is misleading. I ended up paying for all the nights because I canceled a few hours later, while I was trying to find somewhere else in São Paulo. Please be careful and read everything closely. Don’t make the same mistake and lose money over misleading advertising. If you want somewhere safe and quiet, this isn’t it.

On 11/07/2025 at 3 p.m., I came to the front desk to visit a friend. My friend wasn’t home yet, and I asked to wait inside so I wouldn’t risk being robbed outside. The doorman was extremely rude and acted in a dehumanizing way. He talked over me, couldn’t hear my friend’s name, wouldn’t let me in, and said I had to wait outside. I truly believe someone who works like that should leave the job for an educated person who needs work, shows empathy, and looks out for others. I would never invest in a property in this building. I always research carefully before investing. I spoke with a few residents, and some told me similar things about this person being disrespectful and unethical. I live at VN Millennium Faria Lima, Itaim Bibi, where everyone is well trained and knows how to treat people. It’s a shame, but this building has completely lost my respect. Dr. Paulo Costa

I’ve lived here for two months and haven’t had a single peaceful day. The real estate agency never mentioned that most of the apartments are rented through Airbnb, so there are people coming and going all day. I sometimes wait up to five minutes for the elevator, and at times I have to take the stairs. There are only two elevators for 164 apartments. One often breaks, and then the other is left to handle everything for weeks. The noise is the worst part. It starts after 10 p.m., when it should be quiet, even though permanent residents have to get up early for work. I get home at 8 p.m. and have to be up early myself. I have to leave the TV on to sleep because the noise just doesn’t stop. I’ve reported it to the building manager and spoken with the person in charge at the real estate agency, but nothing changes. The disrespect keeps going and nobody does anything. If you’re thinking of living here or staying for a few days, you’re likely to end up stressed instead of having a peaceful stay. If you’ve stayed here, complain about it. This isn’t normal, and it shouldn’t keep being ignored. I have a right to speak up as a resident, and anyone considering this place should know the truth.

It’s been four nights of barely sleeping because the guest next to my unit plays music at full volume and won’t let me rest. Nobody follows the quiet hours, especially at night. Every night and into the early morning, I have to go downstairs and ask the doorman to call the unit and get them to turn it off. They do at first, then the music comes right back on. No one takes proper action to stop the chaos, and there are lots of people coming and going from that unit day and night. Want to live in hell? Come stay at MY SPACE. This has been the worst experience of my life. If you care about sleep and peace, avoid this building.
