New Point Hotel

My aunt and I came from Rio De Janiero, and the low price made us worry the New Point Hotel might be a scam. Even after arriving and checking in, we were still nervous something was off. There was a language barrier since we speak English and the receptionist speaks portuguese, but she made us feel welcome. The lobby was clean, the location was great, and there was a gas station and supermarket nearby. The staff were friendly. We stayed in room #1, which was clean, as was the bathroom. It had a mini fridge, a small table and two chairs, a double bed, TV, AC, and cupboards. They cleaned the room after we went out for a stroll along Paulista Avenue. Breakfast arrived in my room right at 9:20am. You can choose 6:30 or 9:30 am. We had papaya, melon, cheese, ham, bread, coffee and milk in a small thermos, and passion fruit juice. Everything was fresh and the portions were generous. I'd definitely stay at The New Point Hotel again. It's great value for money.

The price is hard to beat for such a central spot, close to everything a tourist or foreigner needs. I stayed five days and found the staff friendly. They cleaned my room every day and replenished the toiletries too. Breakfast was simple, but good enough for me.

It's a really clean hotel in a great location, with connections to everywhere in Sao Paulo. The rooms are spotless and come with everything you need, from soap and shampoo to a toothbrush, toothpaste, and disposable flip-flops. Breakfast is also plentiful and really good. I'd definitely come back.

The neighborhood seemed safe from my experience, and the location was great, close to small shops and restaurants. Avenida Paulista is within walking distance, though the route uphill can tire your legs. Getting an Uber, taxi, or 99 to or from the hotel is quick and easy. What I paid compared with what I got was very good value. When I return to São Paulo, I'll definitely see if New Point Hotel has a room for me. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. I don't speak Portuguese, and they didn't speak English. My room was clean at check-in and stayed just as clean after the housekeeping visits each day, with fresh sheets and towels and a folded blanket. The room is small but has everything you'd need: a TV, mini fridge, private bathroom, bed, small table, shelf space, and air conditioning, which I really appreciated. Breakfast comes at a set time each morning and is very nice: bread, ham, cheese, pão de queijo, fruit, juice, and coffee. It's an easy, pleasant start to the day. You can also buy water or Guaranà Antarctica in the lobby at very fair prices. I absolutely love that stuff.
