The breakfast was really disappointing: watery yogurt and just one slice of cheese with two slices of ham among the cold cuts. And the room had a strong, lingering cigarette smell. I paid 235,00 for a night and came away completely dissatisfied with the hotel's service. I had told them I couldn't stand noise and that we were there to rest, but they put us next to the boiler. Staff were talking and laughing loudly, so I went to reception and my husband showed them a recording. They moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the next morning the employees serving breakfast were making a lot of noise too. One stopped right outside our room to make a video call, speaking loudly and laughing while saying they were going to a bar. We called reception, and the receptionist said it must be a guest. We insisted that it was an employee. I hope this gets to the owners and management so they take action. At reception, all we heard was that it must have been guests.

The staff were quick and efficient, and I recommend the place. I liked the comfortable, well laid out room, and the hydro tub was great. There are several places to eat nearby, and it was well located for the event I attended. It lives up to its name as a pleasant hotel. The only issue was a lot of ants in the bathroom.

The air conditioning was in poor shape, with broken vents and enough noise to make the room uncomfortable. The old, worn furniture also made the place feel outdated, even though it was clean. I was concerned by the general setup and atmosphere, which gave the impression it may once have been used for something other than lodging, and that affected my stay for work. Breakfast was brought to the room, but the selection was limited and the cold cuts looked poorly stored and unappetizing. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations for a functional, well-equipped hotel.
