Right off Paulista Av., so the location is excellent. I also liked the rooftop pool, which is set up for actual swimming with lanes, and stays open until 22h00. It was perfect after a long workday. Breakfast was excellent too, and the staff were nice. For the price, it's a very good hotel. A few practical annoyances: the bathroom tap splashes because of its water-saving nozzle, and there's no 220V outlet in the bathroom, so my European equipment wouldn't work. The black touchscreen for the room lights isn't lit, which makes it almost impossible to use in the dark.
The property is attractive, well located, and the service was generally good while we were there. But my companion noticed cash missing from her belongings on the way to the airport, after staying here from January 21 to 24. The cash had been left in the room. The hotel acknowledged our report, but never confirmed that an official incident record had been made or explained what, if anything, was investigated. That lack of follow-up made a bad situation worse. I can't recommend it to travelers who care about security and accountability.
The hotel has a good location and the service was generally good, but I wouldn't stay again if I were worried about my belongings. After staying from January 21 to 24, I found cash missing from my bag on the way to the airport. The bag had been in the room, and I reported it right away. They didn't give me an official incident report or any evidence of a proper investigation.
My favorite part of Qoya Hotel was being just a few blocks from Parque Ibirapuera. I went for a morning run there every day. The hotel is also one street from Avenida Paulista, with lots of restaurants, bars, and cafés around, roughly 10-15 minutes away by Uber. We chose it at the last minute for a quick break after a busy stretch at COP30 in Belém. The room was a decent size and had one of the softest beds I've ever slept in. They put me in a PWD-accessible room without telling me beforehand, even though I'm not a PWD. It wasn't a major issue, but I would've liked to know. Breakfast had a fair, satisfying selection. Fresh honey and cheese became my regular picks, and there's a Michelin-star restaurant on the ground floor. The stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I'd happily come back.
The location is good and the staff are generally nice, but this place isn't worth the rate. The room is tiny, and basic things don't work right. It was freezing because the central AC kept blowing cold air even when turned off, with no heater function. Water pressure was poor and the toilet took ages to flush. Breakfast was very average, and the gym is tiny with only very basic machines.
