Republica Park Hotel

The staff were very nice, and breakfast looked fine, though we were short on time and didn’t eat. The bathroom surfaces were fairly clean, and the bed sheets were clean too, but the blankets were ragged even though they smelled okay. The mattresses were bare-bones, and there was no hot water. I remembered this as a reasonably nice, inexpensive hotel from a trip years ago, so I thought it would be fine for a few days. But it’s now far too dirty to stay in. The room walls were stained with dirt and leaks, the curtains and upholstery looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in at least ten years, and the sticky rug and smell of old body odor and mildew made the room unpleasant.
