Studios Mood - Mackenzie

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the price is great. Reception is open 24 hours, the location is amazing, and the staff are friendly and willing to help with anything. I saw a comment saying reception wasn’t good, but that wasn’t my experience. Maybe smile and don’t be a jerk, and people will be nicer to you 😁😁. I loved staying here. It’s a great spot in Sao Paolo if you’re okay with the busy nightlife. Highly recommend!

The reception staff were very rude and didn’t help us. They had messaged that late checkout was available for an extra 70%, but when we asked, they refused because the room was full. We then asked to leave our luggage, but they said there was no space. I booked another night even though I only needed the room for five hours, and they still wouldn’t let me in before 3Pm because it had to be cleaned. I asked them to skip cleaning since I only needed somewhere to leave the bags, but they said checkout was at 12pm and check-in at 3Pm. So we waited three hours in the lobby, then left our luggage there for a couple more hours. The owners seem to be working hard on the reviews, but they really need to change the reception staff, especially the dark-skinned girl with dreadlocks who was working Thursday morning and afternoon. I can hardly believe I’m giving this place one star.

Absolute trash. There was construction at all hours, day and night. The flies were the fastest I’ve ever tried to kill in Brazil. And why were the dishes left under the sink like that?

The rooms were decent and nice, but there was a lot of loud music from outside because of the neighborhood. The people at the desk weren’t very helpful or friendly. I guess that’s part of staying in a busy business city like São Paulo.
