Trilhos Hotel

The shower barely had any water pressure and never got hot, and the bathroom was in bad shape. The pillows were awful, and the towels were so worn out they barely dried me. There was no ventilation in the room, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly. It set off my allergy right away. The hotel’s service and facilities were just as disappointing. There was no reception or parking control, and the parking area was left open and felt unsafe late at night, with no protection for guests. Breakfast was supposed to be available from 6:30 a.m. under the hotel’s own policy. We arrived at the agreed time, but by 7:00 it still hadn’t arrived. We had to leave hungry to make our commitments. The place was badly managed and completely unprofessional. A horrible stay, they’d be better off closing.

The room was cool, the shower was hot, and breakfast was generous. The attendant also brought extra pillows quickly when I asked. We stayed for one night while visiting, and it covered what we needed. The room, bathroom, and hallway were all very clean and smelled nice. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one beat several three-star places for cleanliness and comfort. I’d book it again for a short visit. If you’re planning a longer stay, check whether it suits you: it’s good for sleeping and resting, but there’s no leisure area or restaurant.

The location is good, and breakfast was plentiful, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Getting to reception means climbing a huge staircase, so you need your joints in working order. The room felt like a motel room and had little light. The air conditioning badly aggravated my allergies, and the shower barely had any water. Noise was unbearable, and reception did nothing about it. The bathroom’s glass door wouldn’t close. There is parking, but in the middle of the night they called us to move our car so another guest could get out. A terrible experience.

Really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and smelled fresh, the service was a 10, and breakfast was also a 10. They bring it to your room, which was great. The night staff guys were great, the ladies were lovely, and Gizele was especially attentive. The parking attendant was very friendly too. I recommend it.
