The breakfast was extremely basic, with little variety and no protein options like eggs, bacon, or cold cuts. But the main problem was the cleaning, which made the whole stay a terrible experience. In the first room, either 38 or 39 on the third floor, there was an unbearable sewer smell coming from the bathroom drain, and hair on the towels laid out on the bed. I asked to change rooms. The smell was better in room 69 on the sixth floor, but other things were worse. The bedding was stained with what looked like blood, the towels were stained too, and there was hair on the floor. Over all four days, the bathroom wasn't properly washed or cleaned. I specifically asked for it to be cleaned on the last night, but it still wasn't done. They even left a floor squeegee with a dirty, hair-covered floor cloth in the room by the bathroom door. The lack of care with cleaning completely ruined my stay. I hope hotel management urgently reviews its hygiene standards and staff training. This is below the minimum I'd expect from a place to stay.

I understand that the rooms may not be available close together, and that's fine. What I can't figure out is the conflicting information about how rooms are assigned. I've stayed at the hotel before and really liked it, which is why I booked again. On the phone, I was told Booking assigns the rooms when you make a reservation. They even gave me room 25 on the second floor and room 62 on the sixth. But in a reply on Booking to another guest, the hotel said room assignments depend on availability at check-in. Aren't those two answers contradictory? I just want to understand which procedure is actually used.

The location is so convenient, with everything nearby, including all the shops in Liberdade. I’m in love with this hotel. The rooms are beautifully and modernly decorated, spotless, and the welcome from the staff feels genuinely warm. I also loved that the fridge is empty for guests to use however they like. There's a microwave and a small kitchen sink too, so it feels almost like an apartment.

The hotel is close to everything, especially the main street for exploring Liberdade. My boyfriend and I stayed for three days and were treated so well. The room was clean and cozy, and everything felt just right. I loved the service, and even got a really cute Women's Day gift. I'll come back whenever I can. ❤️❤️❤️
