Vila Pitanga Hosting

I left without staying, and now the owner is keeping my money even though Booking agreed to ask for a free cancellation. I made the reservation only 20 minutes before arriving, but she refused to cancel it without charge. She was extremely rude when I explained that I wasn't comfortable with the safety conditions, and took my concerns personally. When I got there, I saw only two parking spaces. A car with two men was using the other space as I arrived, and I assumed I would be alone in a small building with them as the other guests, possibly with no one else there since there were only two spots. The street didn't appeal to me either, it was quiet and there was no front desk. So I left without using the booking. In my view, keeping the payment this way is misappropriation. She wouldn't have lost anything if she'd agreed to cancel right away, especially after Booking itself supported a free cancellation. It seems she must really need the money to keep what belongs to someone else.

The location is great, very close to the metro, and the accommodation was lovely. There were plenty of kitchen items to make things easier, and the shower was great too. I found the stairs a little dangerous, but just be careful and it's fine. We were lucky to meet the owner, who was so charming, with a wonderful accent and lots of stories. I loved it, and we'd definitely come back.

The apartment is minimalist and I really loved the place, especially the lovely terrace. I'd happily return many times. I hadn't realized there was no reception, though. When I arrived, I found a very high wall and no one there to let me in because the host was away. I called her, and she answered and came over to show me the apartment and everything else.

The fruit garden on the terrace and its lovely view make for a nice place to unwind at the end of the day. Vila Pitanga Hosting has comfortable, charming studios in São Paulo, just a short walk from Vila Madalena metro. They're fully equipped for a holiday or working from home, and the room is cozy and air-conditioned. Ines, the host, really makes a difference. A peaceful, stylish place to stay.
