The rooftop pool was closed for the whole weekend I was there, even though it was the main reason I booked. There wasn't a manager available when I tried to speak to one. I paid $100 a night, which is quite expensive, and paid extra for a high floor. They wouldn't let me check in early despite having rooms available, and when they finally checked me in, it took forever. They then put me on a lower floor in a room with two twin beds, even though I was traveling alone. The room was bare bones: one chair at the table, no dishes in the kitchen, and no furniture on the balcony. I was extremely disappointed and will never stay here again.

A hotel shouldn't rent out rooms on a floor where demolition and construction are actively going on.

The beds were the worst we've ever slept in, really hard, and the pillows were ancient and worn out, with filling like hard balls of melted fabric. Breakfast was okay, and the service staff, like the person bringing towels and the cleaning staff, were kind and quick to help. The front desk, though, was the coldest we've encountered in Brazil. One person was so arrogant, and the customer support was at the lowest level I've seen. We chose the hotel for its location and wanted a low-key stay on our first trip to Brazil, but honestly, look elsewhere. Don't let this place affect your vacation. You can find somewhere better and avoid the stress of such poor hospitality and politeness.

The city views are amazing, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The location is excellent, and the service was good. The rooms are a little old and could use an update. If you plan to use the kitchen, you have to request kitchenware, and even then there's very little. This was our second stay, and we'd come back again.

We'd booked and paid four months ahead, but the business claimed it had no record of our reservation. Something felt off. They wanted us to wait until noon to see if they could give us a room, then pay them directly at more than double the price. We left and went to the Wyndham down the road. It turned out there was a Formula One event, and they wanted to sell the rooms at a higher rate. Hopper got me a refund and confirmed with the hotel, which apparently didn't even have our booking. They're a bunch of liars. Never again. They didn't seem to care that we'd traveled so far with a small, tired child who was crying. Heartless. This establishment has no care factor.
