The rooms were clean and airy, and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. It’s a nice place, well located near Rua Galvão Bueno, especially handy if you’re planning to visit Liberdade. But in the six-bed room, only the lower bunks had outlets. The shower pressure was very low, which made the water far too hot and unpleasant to bathe in. One day, staff opened our room at 4 a.m. to show it to prospective guests. They made a lot of noise and woke everyone, which really bothered me.

The location was wonderful, close to the metro, downtown, and the livelier parts of town. I spent five days here and was warmly welcomed and looked after by lovely people. I loved the suite, though the shower could use improvement. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Yellowhouse Hostel has shared rooms, a good breakfast, and great service. It’s also well placed, close to Ana Rosa station, bus stops, banks, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The hostel is near downtown São Paulo, Parque Ibirapuera, Congonhas Airport, and Parque da Aclimação.
