We had one of the best hotel breakfasts anywhere, with a lovely spread of breads, sliced cheese and meats, and fresh fruit, all well prepared and served with real warmth. The staff were friendly and worked hard throughout our stay. The property is a small boutique place with just a handful of charming cottages on a hillside, tucked away somewhere quiet. It has a romantic feel, and the Wi-Fi is fast!!! I’d highly recommend it for couples.

The food is really expensive, so be prepared to spend a lot. I also found the room prices hard to justify for the quality. The upper bungalow costs much more than the regular rooms, though the only extras seem to be a jacuzzi and a lagoon view. At réveillon, the gap was a couple thousand reais. My boyfriend hated the price difference, even though the room did have some charm.

We waited more than an hour for lunch as visitors, and nobody serving us gave any explanation beforehand. The restaurant was empty, with only two hotel guests there. They arrived after us and had already eaten and left before our lunch came. Never again!
