The hosts Rodrigo and Natália are wonderful, and the homemade breakfast is outstanding, with food made with a lot of care. The place itself is fantastic and has great facilities. It’s another lovely spot in São Pedro da Serra, especially if you want to get away from the big city and enjoy nature. There are lots of waterfalls nearby, and you can follow the hosts’ tips. Best of all, it’s pet friendly!

The lush nature and Rodrigo’s cordial manner were real highlights of my three-day stay. Natália, the owner, was unpleasant for no apparent reason, as other comments on this platform have also mentioned. When I arrived, I told her my room had no key. I went out soon after to find a restaurant for dinner, and she said she’d leave the key at reception. I politely asked her to leave it at my room door instead, but she stopped replying to my WhatsApp messages. When I got back late that night, there was no key at reception or in the room. Even if the place is considered safe, you can’t know what’s going through a tourist’s mind. Natália left my safety, and especially my privacy, unnecessarily exposed. I had to sleep with the room door unlocked. The next day she didn’t come find me to explain or apologize, and she never contacted me before checkout either. The owner handled a problem caused by the business very poorly. It was regrettable.
