The food was good, and there’s plenty to do, including horseback riding and swimming in the pool. The hotel also has a good setup and is surrounded by native nature. But it isn’t accessible for wheelchair users: the ramps are over 35° steep and slippery for someone pushing a wheelchair, and many areas can only be reached by climbing a single step. Staff struggled when there were lots of guests at once, and the bar and restaurant electronic system had problems on two of the three days I was there. With a few improvements, this could be a really nice place to relax and connect with nature, with family or on your own.

The staff are really nice, the food is excellent, and there are several pools at this great resort. One thing to know: rooms 700 to 900 can get a fair amount of noise at night from a fan unit. If you can, ask to move, because it’s really annoying.

There’s lots of space, and it’s a nice hotel. But it isn’t suitable for wheelchair users or others with special needs, since there are many uphill climbs between the different areas.

I was at the hotel for the three-day academic event X-Meeting 2017. I didn’t stay there, so I can’t speak to the rooms or the regular guest service, but the facilities were great and made the event comfortable for attendees.

It’s a pleasant place, but it really shows its age. I was there for a scientific meeting, and it was fine for that. I wouldn’t bring my family for a leisure weekend, though. I’d choose somewhere fancier.
