I booked two nights for about 2,500+ BRL per night because I wanted to visit the sao roque wineries. The full-board package with activities sounded like it would have a club-med kind of feel, but the advertising left me pretty disappointed. The compound felt old. The few activities described as free were some kayaks on a small pond and a tired-looking forest trail and wall climbing, both with very specific hours of use. There were also several room problems: no hot water for showering, poor wifi, too few bath towels, and a minibar charge we hadn't earned. We hadn't used anything, and there was no evidence that we had. What bothered me most was that meals came with no water, and there wasn't even a watercooler around the compound. We had to pay for plain drinking water with meals, and all water in the room was charged too. The drinks weren't especially expensive, but calling it full board when they didn't provide tap or warm water felt strange. We stayed two nights, and it was a bad experience. Be careful if you come, especially if you don't speak portugese, since otherwise you're on your own. I strongly don't recommend this place, particularly for a vacation with children when you don't want to deal with problems like these.

We had a great 90 minute walk around the grounds, and there's so much for young people to do that I think we'll return with our kids. The location and space are amazing, and it's the perfect distance from SP for a few days away. We loved our one night stay on the full-board package. They really put in the work to make your stay enjoyable.
