The studio and staff were both great, and the beach is really close. I liked everything about the place.

The heated pool was a real highlight, tucked into a lovely, well-kept garden. We didn’t get much direct sun there during our stay, though I imagine it’s even nicer in summer. The pousada doesn’t include breakfast, but there’s a café next door, practically on the property. We didn’t try it since we made coffee in our room. We loved the duplex and its space. The room had good equipment, two bathrooms, and blackout curtains upstairs and downstairs, which helped with privacy. The bed was comfortable, and you can hang a hammock on the balcony. The sofa was a little hard, but it didn’t affect our stay. The duplex stairs are steep, so you need to be careful, especially with children or older people. It’s about five minutes from the beach. We sometimes walked and sometimes drove. If you’re bringing a cooler, chairs, or lots of beach gear, I’d suggest driving. There are a few bars on the street, so there was some noise at night, especially on Fridays, but it didn’t disturb our rest. The staff were very polite and attentive. When we checked out, they even asked if we wanted to stay a little longer, which felt flexible and considerate. One thing that bothered me a bit was a slight smell in the bedding, like it hadn’t dried fully. Still, I loved staying at Anoa. We had a really pleasant few days and would come back. Next time I’d like to try one of the ground-floor rooms.

The heated pool was lovely, and my grandson had a great time in it even with overcast weather. The rooms are new and spacious, the bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen had plenty of equipment. Everything worked, and there were several streaming options. The receptionists were very polite. We’d definitely return, and I highly recommend it.

I had a lovely stay and plan to come back with my family. The reception was wonderful, and the large studio and whole property were well cared for, with new kitchen utensils and a heated pool. Breakfast isn’t included, though there’s a paid option at the hotel restaurant. I found it expensive, and the small serving didn’t seem worth the price. I’d rather go to a bakery or make it in the studio, which even has a thermos and a coffee filter holder.
