The rooms felt a bit claustrophobic, like being in a cabin on a large cruise ship. There’s no view, and the windows are high up. For what the hotel charges, I expected more. The mini fridge was empty, and you have to ask reception for anything you need. Even getting a basic bottle of water meant going downstairs and waiting five minutes while they charged me for it. There’s no room phone, so requests have to be sent by WhatsApp. Housekeeping is only available at certain early hours, and there are just three irons for the whole hotel, which can mean a long wait. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable, though nothing special. I also found the reception staff could have been friendlier and smiled more.
