We booked two rooms for three people through Booking.com, and arrived just 30 minutes after getting confirmation. Even after we showed proof, we were told the booking meant nothing unless we paid again there. They tried to put us in one room and asked for BRL 900 for what we'd reserved online for much less. It felt like a complete scam, with bait-and-switch tactics and no interest in honoring the listing. The staff were shockingly rude and aggressive, with no professionalism, accountability, or respect. Avoid this place unless you want to be treated badly and overcharged. My mother-in-law made the booking, and we got there shortly after it was confirmed. There didn't seem to be a real availability problem: only one car was parked there, and at least two rooms looked empty, with their doors open and no signs of use. Still, they tried to refuse the agreed booking and push us to pay significantly more. We had to leave and find somewhere else at the last minute because they wouldn't honor their terms. I don't spend my vacation making up stories about bad stays. The only thing that didn't match reality was their so-called professionalism. The team showed bad manners, arrogance, and a complete lack of respect. Their response was frankly insulting. Calling my review “not corresponding to the facts” is a polite way of calling a guest a liar. Instead of deflecting responsibility and questioning guests' honesty, they should look hard at their own behavior and how they treat people. Absolutely disgraceful experience.
