The room felt modern and just right, and the whole Pousada has a simple, well thought-out layout with two pools. It’s only a five-minute walk to the beach, and staff were helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had something for every taste. We’ve visited Maresias several times, but this was our first stay here. The website photos matched what we found when we arrived, and the Christmas price was half what we’d paid at other places before. We’ll happily book Pousada Mosaic again next time we’re back in Maresias.

The rooms were dingy and need restoring, and the service was extremely poor. I’d picked this place based on the reviews. What shocked me most was seeing a reception staff member drop a breakfast item on the floor, pick it up by hand, and put it back on the buffet for another guest. Shocking.

Everything feels relaxed, and the pools are clean. The beach is very close, though the city is small enough that everything is nearby. Wi-Fi works as expected outside, but the signal doesn’t reach the rooms very well.

The pool is awesome, and the place looks beautiful from the outside in a lovely green area. The rooms could use an upgrade, though, and there’s not much space for kids.

We’ve stayed here twice now. The beach is a short walk away, the service is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent too.
