The walk to the beach takes a bit, but I enjoyed going through the village streets and seeing so much along the way. There are some good restaurants and bars nearby, plus a large parking area. The place is cheap, cozy, and clean.

The stay was a real headache from start to finish. Getting in was difficult because it was hard to reach anyone to check in and get the room key. Later, when we needed to leave in the early hours, the gate remote we’d been given didn’t work. Calls and the intercom went unanswered, so we knocked at reception. A man came out swearing at us for waking him, then handed over another remote in his underwear and said it was our fault for not checking that the first one worked. A terrible experience.
