Pousada Vida Mansa

Excellent.

It was just my husband and me. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the shower was very good. The location is excellent, and everyone was so friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back 🙏

Customer service was awful. The attendant needs training in how to handle cancellations, because she's lovely when you're making a reservation. I canceled on 04/02 and was told the refund would take 15 business days, though the consumer protection code allows 7 days for a refund. When I called, they said it would only be refunded on March 1, already past the date they had given me on WhatsApp. On the phone, the so-called attendant even said I could sue them if I wanted. They also said they'd pass my complaint to management, but customers aren't allowed to speak with management at this “excellent” establishment!

The staff were the best, empathetic, very polite, and kind, and we had a lovely stay with our pets at Pousada Vida Mansa de Maresias. The location is wonderful and breakfast was delicious. We also visited several nearby beaches. Our Master Suite had kitchen utensils, a cooktop, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator. The linens and towels were simple but very clean. There was a problem with my reservation, it had dropped out, but they still welcomed my family on the rainy night we arrived. I'm grateful for those days in July, and we'll definitely be back soon.
