Hotel Paulista

For the price, I didn't expect much. The room was simple but clean, and breakfast was basic but tasty. The treatment we got, though, was some of the worst I've experienced. You can't really call this place a hotel, it's more like a boarding house, and calling it one would be an insult to hotels. The owner was rude and arrogant, acting as if we were asking him for a favor. The staff seemed to be going the same way, with bad manners and not even a good morning. If you don't want to leave angry, stay away. That's my tip. Read the other reviews and decide for yourself.

The price was great for what I got, and the accommodations suited me well. I was treated well, and it met my needs. Breakfast and the room were good, and there was a garage where I could park the company car. For the price and benefits, it was perfect. If you want more luxury, you'll need to pay more, and I'm sure you won't have complaints.

I got poor service over the phone when I only wanted to ask the nightly rate. That was enough for me, I didn't need to stay there and I won't. What a ridiculous experience.

The one real plus is how close it is to the sea and the shopping mall. The owners could be friendlier, though. They barely say good morning, and the service was lacking. I hope the place finds some happiness and makes changes, so future guests can have positive experiences. One bright spot was the cleaning lady, who was super friendly, cheerful, and treated us really well.
