Palais Hotel

Breakfast upstairs had a great city view and plenty of choices, and I especially liked the lemon pie. I also ordered food from the in-room menu, though it was more about the generous portions than anything exceptional. The small lobby had a friendly, helpful front desk, and she walked me to my room. There's no bellman, so you'll need to carry your own bags. The elevator is tiny, fitting only 2-3 people. My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I slept well. The AC was very cold, just how I like it. The TV only had Brazilian local channels, with no international shows, but the internet was fast. The toilet and shower are separate, with hot and cold water and amenities provided. It's a boutique hotel with nice rooms. I stayed one night and would recommend it.

We arrived around midnight as seafarers, and the staff made sure food was brought to us. They were genuinely humble and the hospitality was good. Rooms are neat and clean, and they'll provide extra amenities if you ask. Free WiFi is a great perk, since many hotels don't offer it. They clearly explain what to do and go over transport times. Breakfast was good. Mr.Elionai kindly guided us, and Ms. Livia was especially helpful, speaking good English and helping us communicate with the staff since we're from another country.

The food and accommodation are nice, and it's fine for staying alone or with family. It's located close to the bus station.
