The chalé Sabiá is upstairs at the inn. It could use a hand-held bidet shower, and the air conditioner seems ready for retirement. On the plus side, it’s good value, the hosts are kind, the rooms are clean, the pool is spotless, and breakfast is excellent. It’s a little far from town, but that’s where the peace and nature come in.

The grounds are poorly maintained, with tall grass that makes the place look more like overgrown brush in Serra. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend it or come back. We paid more expecting better quality, but the stay from December 26 to 28 in the cabana Pixarro left a lot to be desired. The room was basic, and the bathroom was clean, but supplies were sparse: just one bar of soap and one roll of toilet paper. Wi-Fi barely worked near reception or the breakfast area, and there was no signal in the cabin. The old TV only had local channels, with no apps or streaming. The listing mentioned lunch and dinner, but only lunch was actually served. The pool has no ladder, and even the shallow end is about 1.5 meters deep, making it hard for children, older guests, or people with limited mobility to use. Parking was bad too. Although it’s in front of the chalet, the ground is uneven, almost like a slope with tall grass, which made maneuvering difficult and felt unsafe. Reception was poor. They just handed over the keys without explaining how the inn worked. The only thing they asked was whether we knew where the chalet was. For any questions, we had to message the WhatsApp number from the reservation or go to reception in person.

It’s a lovely, peaceful place for anyone looking to relax. There’s no luxury, but it’s clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice, the beds are comfortable, and Sr. Celso was helpful and polite. Breakfast is simple, with plenty of tasty options. We went with our baby and had a calm, really pleasant stay. It feels like a place to find some peace, and we already want to return.

The breakfast was wonderful, with lots of variety. There’s a lot of nature around, including several mango trees and a cute pair of parrots. Our room was large, and although the bathroom was simple, the bed was good and the sheets were clean. But the grass needed cutting, and the place felt neglected. The children’s playground was unusable because of all the overgrown weeds. It really needs attention.
