The staff are well trained, polite, and seem to enjoy their work. The food is fantastic, with 600- or 900-calorie options. The rooms and beds are old, but spacious and comfortable, everything worked, and cleaning was done daily. The building could use a paint job or a small renovation, though the gardens and green areas help cover that up. The service, talks, entertainment, 24-hour medical center, exercise activities, massages, and the rest are all at a very good standard. I’d go back and recommend it.

The grounds are pretty and full of trees. We hadn’t realized it was a medical spa, but that wasn’t a problem. The room was old but very large. The wardrobe might be small if you’re sharing. The bathroom was huge, though the shower enclosure was tiny and there was nowhere to hang a towel. The meals were tasty, the desserts were especially delicious, and the kitchen staff were lovely. The receptionist and the recreation worker were also kind and polite. The gym instructors were polite, but the classes needed more energy. A livelier atmosphere would make people happier, especially at a spa. You can only use the equipment if you pay extra for a personal trainer, even if you already exercise regularly. Only the treadmill and bike are open to everyone. Group activities are included, but those also lacked energy. I had a manicure through the outsourced service, and it was very good. I went during a time when there wasn’t much to do, so it felt a bit boring. The employees were generally very polite. I’ve been to other spas, and this wouldn’t be my first or second choice. There are more interesting and lively options.
