Vó Ita Hotel

Such a disappointment. The service was terrible, and the breakfast staff were rude and unprepared. I don't recommend it.

The location is really good, and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Everything was clean and organized, the restaurant was excellent, and the service was top-notch.

The breakfast was a highlight, with much more than the basics: fresh strawberries and kiwi, cakes, savory snacks, and made-to-order tapioca, cuscuz, and omelets. It was plentiful, with friendly, welcoming service, and the nightly rate was very affordable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept, with comfortable mattresses, an efficient air conditioner, a stocked minibar, and a roomy bathroom. Each floor also has a welcoming hall for socializing. My only suggestion would be to add more outlets beside the bed. At first I was wary when I saw the hotel was inside a gas station complex, but a few minutes there changed my mind. The GPS can be confusing: the entrance is behind the station, off BR-230, so you need to pay attention. There are perks to the location too. Next door is a bar owned by the same person, with great drinks and artisanal cachaça, and across the street there's a wholesale store for anyone looking to save during their stay. Beside the station there's a Volvo electric car charging point, though so far I've only seen that brand there. It's one of those finds I love recommending.

The rooms and shared areas are spacious, clean, and well kept, and the staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of food. The only drawback is the address. GPS took us to the hotel's outer walls on the side streets, while the entrance is behind the gas station on BR 230, which made it hard to find. Still, it's a great hotel. I recommend it.
