We stayed for 18 days and really liked how peaceful it was, the big lawn, and the grills under the cashew trees. Alessandro looked after the place on his own and treated us very well. The apartment had a good fridge, microwave, sandwich maker that needed cleaning, and air conditioning. The main drawback was the small, poorly equipped kitchen. The pots were in bad shape and not clean, and the cutlery needed a thorough wash. There were only deep plates, no small dessert plates, can opener, corkscrew, meat cutting knife, or bowls for salad prep or marinating meat. In short, it lacked the basics for a working kitchen. We liked the stay overall, but the kitchen is pretty inadequate for longer visits or anyone who enjoys cooking.

We paid 490 reais in January 2022 for a basic kitchenette with no breakfast, and it was a total disappointment. The place is extremely simple for that price. The reception is just a table and two benches, and the kitchenette has almost nothing in it. It’s not worth 200 reais. We found much better options for 350 reais, with a pool and restaurant, at no Sokar dos Canais. There’s no parking, and the TV is small with no subscription channels. We didn’t like it at all.

I got there around 5:30 pm and couldn’t stay, even though there were vacancies. The only person at the inn was the caretaker, who said he couldn’t receive anyone because he was alone and had to get the room ready. I’d planned to book through booking, but decided to check the place in person first. Maybe that was a blessing in disguise.
