Tamandare Praia Hotel By Aft

The location is a real plus, just one block from Campas beach. There’s no parking at the hotel, although street parking was easy when we visited. We were told it gets very crowded in the height of summer. We stayed four days, and found it good value overall. Our room had plenty of space and a small balcony, while the bathroom was a decent size and the electric shower worked very well. The front desk staff were helpful and attentive, including when they quickly fixed a small issue with the toilet flush. Breakfast was the letdown. It’s outsourced to a restaurant on the ground floor, where there wasn’t much variety, items were slow to be replenished, and the utensils weren’t suitable.

The staff were so friendly, polite, and ready to help, which made the stay even better. The room was comfortable and very clean and organized. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the TV was fine, and the fridge worked well. Even the kitchen sink was spotless, and that really matters. We loved having the little balcony, especially the clothesline for swimsuits and towels. They dried fast in the regional heat. The living room was spacious, with a lovely comfortable sofa, a good place to unwind after the beach. The pool area was wonderful, with pleasantly warm water and a nice atmosphere for relaxing. It was also easy to reach the beach and the main spots nearby. I loved the whole stay and would come back. Grateful 🙏🏾

The hotel is in a very good spot, near a little market fair and restaurants. Still, my stay last week was disappointing. When we arrived, there was no water in the room, so we had to alert reception. They then turned on the well water for us to shower, but it looked dirty and was quite yellow.

It’s a nice place with a good breakfast and the rooms are cleaned daily. The beach is a block away, and restaurants are nearby. I wasn’t happy with the service from the staff. They don’t speak Spanish and didn’t try to understand when I asked something. They also don’t offer extra pool towels or luggage storage.
