Tamandare Residence

I had a terrible experience here and wouldn’t recommend it. For two nights we couldn’t sleep properly because the neighbors talked loudly, shouted, and played loud music until 3am. I called the owner, who promised to sort it out, but nothing changed. On the second night, he didn’t even answer when I called to complain again. If you don’t want this happening to you, find somewhere else. Nobody deserves to have their holiday plans spoiled by this kind of accommodation, where the owner doesn’t care about the guests.

The place is a good size and well located, and the structure itself is good. But it falls short on small things. Bed and bath linens cost an absurd amount, and there was no toilet paper, sponge, detergent, floor cloth, or dish towel. The pots were old too. It’s hard to bring all that stuff when you’re coming from far away. On top of that, the water was turned off, so whenever we got back from the beach to shower, there was none. Really unpleasant. Aside from that, the place is good.

The flat is nicely divided, pleasant, and in a privileged location. Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t very pleasant. People in another flat in the Residence were making a racket and blasting music. We had a young child and teenagers with us and wanted to enjoy the pool, but the neighbors’ behavior meant we had no privacy. There should be rules about respecting other guests’ privacy and keeping the volume down. It would be ideal if everyone respected them. The noise went on late into the night. Such a shame.

The accommodations are good, but you can’t adjust the air conditioner temperature, and one of the TVs doesn’t work. The people responsible for the place were unreachable during our stay. They hadn’t given us the caretaker’s contact, even though he was supposed to meet us, and they switched off their phone so they wouldn’t be bothered. When we arrived, we had to ask neighboring caretakers around until we found the person in charge.
