8/10
The room had good lighting, air conditioning, a TV, an empty minibar, and a comfortable bed, but I didn’t like the sheet. It felt like living-room carpet, so I used my own blankets. The place itself is pretty, though the bathroom grout was grimy. The shower didn’t heat the water, there was nowhere to put shampoo, and without a shower screen or bath mat, water spread all over the bathroom and into the bedroom. Breakfast was disappointing. The watermelon and tamarind juices tasted like old fruit, and the watermelon pieces smelled past their best. I gave up on the juice and fruit and just had milk and bread. Breakfast is only served until 9:00, and we paid 311,00. Dinner isn’t included and costs extra.

They seem afraid they won’t get paid and make us feel embarrassed at any moment. Once, an employee paid twice, and it took them more than 10 days to refund her. Breakfast is mostly leftovers from the restaurant the day before, around 90% by my estimate. Even today the French bread was two days old, and there was no ham or cheese to put on it. I’m staying until tomorrow because I was forced to pay again, but I’m leaving feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

It’s in a good location and has a great setup, but it’s very poorly used. The beds are hard as stone and not very well finished.
