Hotel Itapoã

The room was clean and smelled fresh, and the staff were courteous. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices. A very good hotel.

The room was spacious and the bed was good, though the hotel itself is just okay. The shower stall was tiny, barely big enough for me, and I'm slim. Breakfast was very basic.

The modern air conditioner worked well, the TV had a clear picture, and the elevator is useful for guests with mobility difficulties. The room itself is quite small, which might be less of an issue for one person or a couple. Breakfast was very basic, just a few cakes, bread, ham, and cheese. They could add inexpensive choices like scrambled eggs or sausage. The shower points mostly toward the stall, so little water reaches the person using it, and the faucet in room 04 was faulty.

The staff were polite and attentive, and breakfast had a good range for this level of hotel: different juices, bread, cake, fruit, and delicious coffee. There’s also an elevator. The room was another story. In room 14 the shower barely ran, the bathroom was tiny, the curtains let in light, and there was some mold. The air conditioner was new, but badly positioned and so loud right by my ear that it was unbearable. Some rooms have old or nonworking split units, too. I found the building poorly put together. I wouldn’t recommend staying if you sleep lightly or can’t handle the heat. In an emergency it might do, but more than one day would be hard.
