Baviera Park Hotel

I especially liked the grounds, with a little artificial stream and water feature by the entrance, and the welcoming feel throughout. The owners clearly take pride in the place. I spent four nights here in September 2023, and the hotel was spotless and well cared for. Its European half-timbered style gives the building character, and the lobby, dining room, rooms, and gardens are all lovely. It has the warmth of a bed and breakfast while still giving you hotel privacy. Prices felt very reasonable, and I had a great stay. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel: hot eggs and sausage, plus lots of sweet and savory choices, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The staff I met were friendly, efficient, and happy to answer my questions. There are several room sizes. Since I was traveling alone, I chose one of the smaller ones. It had a sloped wall with dormers, but the space was used well, with a closet, mini fridge, TV, desk, luggage spot, and plenty of Type N outlets. You may need an adapter. The room and bathroom had homey details too, including a bathroom basket with greenery and toiletries. A sign said hot water might take up to four minutes to reach the shower, but I noticed no real wait and was pleased with it. There’s an elevator to the upper floors, and the hallway lights come on with motion. My room was comfortable for a solo stay. I’d happily return if I’m in the area, whether traveling for work, with family, or for a getaway with my spouse.
