Bupitanga Hotel

The staff really added to our stay. Hotel manager Cleber, our waitress Carol, Charles at the pool, and the reception team were all professional, friendly, and helpful. We chose a bungalow with a private pool, and the small price difference was well worth it. The room was large and attractive, with a very comfortable king bed and a bathroom with a tub for two. The hotel has 30 bungalows in total, half with private pools. The grounds are lovely, with coconut trees, orchids, flowering tropical plants, and lawns. The manager said the hotel has been open for about six years, while the owners spent around 15 years growing the plants. “Bupitanga” means “red land” in Tupi-Guarani, and the name likely comes from the hotel sitting on the high red-clay plateau above the beach, called the Chapadão. It's a lovely boutique hotel in the tourist town of Pipa, Rio Grande do Norte.

The atmosphere was amazing. My bungalow was the best hotel room I've ever stayed in, with a private pool and a huge bed that kept us from wanting to go to the beach for a while. The food was excellent too, both the seafood and the meat dishes we ordered. If you're visiting Pipa, you should stay here.

A gorgeous place to unwind after the party atmosphere in Pipa. It's away from downtown noise, surrounded by greenery, with amazing views of Chapadao. Our bungalow's private pool was beautiful, and the staff were always smiling and helpful. I can't wait to come back someday.

The food was fantastic, and the hotel is beautiful and really relaxing. The staff were so kind too. I’d love to come back and definitely recommend it.
