We stayed in apartments 14 and 17, and both had everything our family of six needed. The place is beautiful and clearly well looked after, with a great pool too. Really good value, and we’d happily recommend it.

Before booking, I asked about the comments saying the place was in poor condition. Darlene from management assured me everything worked, but that wasn’t our experience. The jacuzzi had apparently been broken for a long time, according to staff, one room’s air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no hot water in the shower. We even found eaten chicken bones in the jacuzzi area during Covid. Once it was clear they couldn’t fix things, they stopped replying on WhatsApp. I paid for a spa resort and got a hostel experience. Bad place.

The pool and garden really do look like the photos, and being outside central Pipa means less noise and fewer crowds, which suited us. But the rates are like a five-star hotel, while too many details felt unfinished: the jacuzzi and refrigerator still had their original stickers, the fridge stuck out from the wall, there was shampoo but no soap, and the TV picture wasn’t clear. I’d rate it 2.5 stars, but since that wasn’t an option, I rounded down to two.
