Pipa Selfness Hotel

The pool was beautiful, spacious, and well cared for, with green surroundings where animals sometimes show up. We saw a peacock, a family of marmosets, and an iguana. Even when the inn was nearly full during our first few days, the well-spaced, private chalets made it feel as though we had the place to ourselves. We chose Pipa Selfness for our honeymoon and couldn't have made a better choice. It's cozy, quiet, and well run, and the attentive, helpful team made us feel very comfortable. Our room had a wonderful view, and the recently renovated bathroom was spotless, roomy, and organized, with a strong shower and great temperature control. The air conditioning worked perfectly and cooled the room well. The chalets also have a shared area with a stove, mini-fridge, sink, and even a wine cooler. Getting there was a little tricky. We arrived early in the evening and weren't sure of the way from the main avenue to the hotel, but we made it without further trouble. We didn't worry much about getting around during our stay because they offer transfers to the center for most of the day. It's an ideal spot for peace, quiet, and relaxation. Breakfast was excellent, with omelets, tapioca, and crepioca available on request, plus selected fresh fruit, bread, cakes, jam, and homemade yogurt. Everything tasted fresh and good. It was the best quiche I've ever had.

The inn is peaceful and a lovely place to rest. Luciane welcomed us warmly, she's such a lovely person! The menu is great and breakfast was excellent. The one thing I'd reduce is the number of peacocks. I love animals, and they're beautiful, but there were so many roaming around that we noticed a strong smell of bird droppings when we arrived. The staff may not notice it because they're used to it. They leave droppings everywhere, even along the pool edge, haha.

Luciany and her team are fantastic. This is a little paradise surrounded by nature, with friendly peacocks that are part of the inn's identity. The pool is lovely and attractive, right beside the restaurant serving all meals. The wooden chalets are comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast gets a 10 from me, and while the lunch and dinner menu is small, the shrimp, fish, risotto, pasta, and salad dishes are very good. It used to be called Spa da Alma and is now Pipa Selfness. You'd hardly think you were staying at the lively beach destination of Pipa, with a sea view and the sound of waves at night. Don't miss the experience, especially if you live in a neighboring state.

I'm staying now in a private house on the property and have my meals at the hotel's restaurant. Orders are handled promptly and with lots of care. Things have improved quite a bit, and the staff still give wonderful attention. The food is delicious, breakfast is generous and varied, and the omelet is really tasty. It's a perfect place to unwind. I've stayed here twice before, back when it was SPA da Alma.
