Pousada Recanto Nalu - Quarto à Vista

The location is outstanding, with practically everything nearby, but the price doesn't match the service level. At night there's no 24-hour porter or receptionist, which could be a problem in an emergency. The room works fine but is very small and cramped for a couple, and breakfast is just reasonable. There's also no accessibility for people with disabilities or limited mobility. I'd give it a 7. For a solo traveler who mainly wants a good location, it could still work.

Pousada is right on the main street, so you can avoid using the car for almost everything. It's in the best location on Pipa beach. It's above a gallery, which means some spaces are shared. There are three restaurants inside, which is a plus. The downside is there's no pool. We didn't use one much, but it was very hot and a dip after being out would have been essential.

The night access was unsafe and frustrating. A faulty electronic lock repeatedly failed, leaving us unable to get in. There are no staff at night either, so if something goes wrong, there's no help or security. The showers ran out of water, which is unacceptable, and breakfast was very poor. It's outsourced and served in a basic cafe on the shopping center's ground floor, not what you'd expect for the room price. The place felt like an improvised, badly managed Airbnb instead of an inn, with no organization, proper facilities, service, or respect for guests. Pousada Recanto Nalu doesn't meet basic standards or justify its nightly rate. I absolutely don't recommend it.

The location is excellent, and the place has the potential for a really good stay. Sadly, poor management, an unprepared team, and a lack of commitment to guests made the experience frustrating. Room upkeep and cleaning were poor, and the shower's flow was unbelievably weak. Breakfast starts at 8, but items were already missing and weren't replenished. Guests were complaining about how poor it was while eating. The common area was neglected, and there was hardly ever anyone at reception.
